I’m so glad you’re here! This podcast will help you create simple, consistent habits that lighten the mental load of figuring out what will actually make a difference when it comes to your health—all so you can feel better, have more energy, and become the role model your kids truly need.

Hey! I’m Michelle. A toddler mom, wife and dedicated Jesus follower. For 15 years I struggled to find and stick to health routines that were truly effective and had a positive impact on my life.

Despite being a leader in the fitness industry, I often approached health with an unsustainable mindset. I was either starving myself or mindlessly overeating; going to the gym for hours at a time or going days without walking further than the fridge. The result was staying in a body that was weighing me down and preventing me from becoming all God had created me to be.

I finally realized that if I wanted to feel my best, show up fully for my family and live the life God has called me to, I would need to move beyond extremes and towards stewardship. I needed to build sustainable habits that would help me care for the body God gave me.

With years of nutrition and fitness knowledge under my belt, I was able to create a plan that helps me prioritize healthy habits in the midst of a busy schedule. This approach gives me the confidence that I am stewarding my body well, so that I have the energy to be the mother God has created me to be. This is what I want to share with you today!

Ahhhh... big sigh of relief, mama? The holidays are over! Unfortunately, the finale of the holiday's often leaves us moms with a sense of fatigue and burnout and the craziness of the Christmas season catches up to us in the weeks following the "big day". THEN, there is SO much pressure to get back into routine AND start on those New Year's resolutions. 
 
It's all just... too much. Often we end up sitting on the couch in front of the TV, eating holiday leftovers and "vegging out". We've earned it, right? This is what rest looks like... isn't it?
 
The world encourages rest that is not truly restful, and leaves us feeling more drained and less energized than we were before. 
 
What if I told you there is a better way? Rest is a command from God. We are designed for rest, and so there is a way to rest that leads to true renewal AND communion with Him. 
 
In this episode, I am so excited to share 3 scriptures that emphasize God's design for rest and how to implement them into your life. 
 
As you learn what the word says and live it out in your life, you will experience that renewed strength and faithfulness in the small habits God lays out before you. Stewardship is not about striving, it's about surrendering. And rest is an amazing tool God uses to teach us, that despite our best efforts, He is sovereign above all of it.
